I don’t understand what this is about. I missed the boat on this one. Is it about light pollution, use of LED over conventional, the don’t look up policy, . Could someone give me more info..I just would like to know more, then I may complain or complement….
Publisher: I saw a bunny wabbit at No Thrills. And my power went out for about a hour – think connected to a vehicle accident on Mountainview.
I have a question: There seems to be some debate amongst Osoyoos residents over who is responsible for switching out the bulbs in streetlights? It seems that many street lights are having their conventional bulbs switched with LED’s. Some people have remarked that you can pay the town to upgrade the cover on your local streetlight so that it’s not so bright and harsh. However if it’s Fortis that owns the light/pole, wouldn’t you have to pay for a fancy cover to Fortis? I’m just curious if someone knows for sure if this rumour is accurate?

Those lights are a hazard in my opinion, way to glaring its almost like a car coming at you with high beams on.
Publisher: Paul the worst one – drive north at night and meet the OPRS Lions Park light that doesn’t do its job – it just bugs the truckers.
