The science is objective and illuminating, but what we have is a subjective problem.
Many people espousing individuality and liberty do not like being told what to do, and may extrapolate this COVID scenario to future demands of govt as restricting their rights. As in the US, these people care far more about themselves than they do about the health and welfare of others. In a word, selfish. What they don’t understand, is that ultimately, their actions will play out negatively for themselves. Where these people are placed on the political spectrum should not be overlooked during this election. Kinder and gentler, my friends.
