While the lights are beautiful, John, it is the snowman with that huge smile that put a smile on my face. Love the little rhyme:
Smiling is contagious.
You catch it like the flu.
Today when someone smiled at me
I started smiling, too.
Smiles exchanged with complete strangers can brighten our days!

I can’t agree more Lin. Love the sentiment of your rhyme. A smile takes so little effort but it spreads forever.

A little quote for a ponder and research into flu as a contagion.
“In 2001, Canadian astronomer Ken Tapping showed that the influenza pandemics over the previous three centuries correlated with peaks in solar magnetic activity, on an 11-year cycle. It has also been found that some outbreaks of influenza spread over enormous areas in just a few days – a fact that is difficult to explain by contagion from one person to another. Also, numerous experiments seeking to prove direct contagion through close contact, droplets of mucus or other processes have proved fruitless.”

The Christmas lights and decorations in our burg are a joy to see, topped off by the Christmas parade last evening. Myself and many others I’m sure we’re happy to hear the rolling Carols and sirens. Way to go OFD was worried this year that this would not come to be. I did not get a picture but I hope others did. I was outside waving and crying..tears of joy…Good on ya guys and best of the season to y’all…..
Publisher: Hopefully all wabbits and Neil (on his scooter) there as well !!
