Are you a ‘lemming’?

November 19, 2020, 9:50 am

Dr. Roger Hodkinson, Chairman of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons committee in Ottawa, CEO of a large private medical laboratory in Edmonton, Alberta and Chairman of a Medical Biotechnology company selling a test for Covid.

“There is utterly unfounded public hysteria driven by the media and politicians. This is the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspected public. There is absolutely nothing that can be done to contain this virus. This is nothing more than a bad flu season.

It’s politics playing medicine and that’s a very dangerous game.

“There is no action needed.

Masks are utterly useless. There is no evidence whatsoever they are effective. It is utterly ridiculous seeing these unfortunate, uneducated people walking around like lemmings obeying without any evidence.

Social distancing is also useless. The risk of death under 65 is 1 in 300,000.

The best we can do is to protect the vulnerable – those in facilities.”

Medical Director – MA, MB, FRCPC, FCAP
Dr. Hodkinson is the CEO of Western Medical Assessments, and has been the Company’s Medical Director for over 20 years. He received his general medical degrees from Cambridge University in the UK, and then became a Royal College certified pathologist in Canada (FRCPC) following a residency in Vancouver.

A lemming is a small rodent. If one lemming jumps over a cliff then hundreds of others will follow blindly. Someone can ‘be a lemming’ if they follow others without thinking.

Question for the Publisher: Have you considered posting the open letter from the Medical Doctor in BC to Dr. Bonny Henry? It is an amazingly well written piece.

Sadly it appears many have not learned or adhere to the lessons of history and will blindly follow a tyrannical government. Easy to see from this scamdemic how the totalitarian governments of the past could exterminate their own people. Perhaps us that refuse to compromise our health to the useless mask should be put in internment camps? Is that the preferred outcome for those that believe in personal choice and freedom for all not just those dependent on government for their existence or do one person’s rights end where another’s begins. Hard for people to accept the truth when their existence depends on believing the lie. Follow the money to see who is profiting from these draconian health measures.

I’m sure that’s coming too. Let’s not hasten the day! But as more of us speak out against this, perhaps we can at least delay it! Be kind and compassionate, but bold and brave at the same time. Ignore those who call you names or who misunderstand your motives, and continue to speak the truth in love.

He was a man who helped rule a country & experienced extreme power for a very long time. He knew how to manipulate the people – to get them to go to war – when most of us would prefer not to. The number of people that lost their lives in order to stop him and the other politicians, media & bureaucrats was astronomical. History has much to teach us, don’t you think?

Carolyn, with this comment, are you referring to the DJT and the folks that voted for him with? I’m not sure it you are aware that DJT is the only president in the last 40yrs not to start a war, is activity pulling back from conflicts the US should never have been engaged in and is actively brokering peace between many nations. This is in stark contrast to the Obama admin that dropped an average of 1 bomb every 20mins during his 8 year term

The math in this article does not add up very well. About 30,000,000 people in Canada are under 65. At the rate of 1 in 300,000, about 100 would have died from Covid. The numbers from Canada Public Health show that about 1,000 people under 65 have died from the disease to date. Many other countries have rates worse than Canada.

I think it sad that we as a people seem to have collectively lost the understanding of what freedom means – it means giving each person their freedom and that our freedom stops where another begins. I also think it is sad that today, when people do not want to hear someone’s truth, they attack – and often, as the publisher has pointed out, with exaggeration (huge exaggeration). In truth, there are thousands of doctors trying to get the word out to the people about the truth of Covid19 all around the world. However, the mainstream news, politicians, google, facebook, twitter, youtube & others are doing everything in their power to censor anyone who has a different opinion to the agenda of the WHO and the World Economic Forum. And I believe, unless, we collectively start listening to others and stop listening to mainstream media that we are going to create a world where we have all lost our freedom. Dr. Hodkinson does not gain financially by saying what he does – in fact IF he wanted to gain financially he would add his voice to the hysteria because it would support more sales for his company. In my books, that is the actions of an honourable man. If people are interested in hearing the truth – journalism is no more in our country – then seek out alternative search engines like Qwant and search terms like plandemic … there is soooo much truth out to be found. And it is okay if you don’t want to, and you want to believe in your politicians & media … do so … just allow those of us who are keen for truth to have our freedom as well. Isn’t that what being Canadian is about?

Dr. Hodkinson is so honourable that he lies about his credentials. See the posts below. The world is full of trickery Lesley. Personally I would prefer to believe the word of our elected government than some person who warns of yet another plot to enslave us all, euthanise the elders etc. etc. However different strokes for different folks, we all have a right to our views.

Publisher: Carolyn – would you accept the word of Robert Kennedy’s son – OR – is he just another twisted sister blowing in the wind. I could share a link if you like.

RK, Jr. believes that there is a corporate agenda to keep the wealth at the top of the food chain. He says rich people do control the world and know exactly how to control the masses – often picking on the middle class – who pay most of the taxes and a high % of their income. Rich people can afford to fly to off shore accounts and countries and pay NO taxes.

You say we do not have a caste system?
      We are a populist society?

We have the poor – subsidized by government
We have the ladies and gents in the middle that file their income tax form each year
We have the rich, with accountants and lawyers – what percent of the tax revenue do they support ?

Hi Carolyn, I really appreciate that right now the majority of people would prefer to believe that the politicians, bureaucrats and media are telling the truth. To be honest, I would love to believe this. It would make life so much easier :) Perhaps being so involved in the Natural Health Field all my life has exposed me enough to know that the media, politicians & bureaucrats do not necessarily have the best interests of we the people. A suggestion is to do a search for Event 201. In November last year they did a practice run of exactly how to roll out a pandemic. Could be a coincidence. However, there is just too much information out there.

And then there is the question – why the need to censor truthful information? Who does it threaten? Are the people so helpless that they cannot think for themselves? (I do not buy that kind of reasoning – every single one of us has the intelligence to listen to truthful information and make decisions for ourselves). I have learned that when censoring is happening, I want to know & listen to those that are being censored – because more often than not, that is where the truth is.

There is a video put out by the World Economic Forum about 2030 showing exactly what they expect our world to look like. Justin Trudeau has been recorded on video stating that this is the direction he has signed Canada up for. There is so much evidence hiding in plain sight, but you have to have an open mind in order to see it. And for many it is a frightening thing to have to consider that people we have put in places of power can lie to us … and yet history shows this happens time and time again.

There is also a beautiful open letter written to Dr. Bonny Henry by a medical doctor in BC. He puts all the facts in his letter – facts that others around the world are trying to get out to the people too.

I have watched the top epidemiologist in Sweden (who was brought out of retirement) to help Sweden establish their policies when Covid19 was announced. He said the ONLY thing that was founded on science is the washing of hands. Social distancing, masks … and most especially the modelling that the world governments based their decisions on were all unscientific – no science to back them up. If you remember the model of what was going to happen came out of the UK and it said 20 million people in the UK alone would die. He said one only had to read the model to see it was junk – and no government should have taken note of it … yet they all did.

I truly hope that what I am being exposed to of which the evidence is overwhelming is not true. However I watch each day and see the evidence in action, both in Canada and many other countries around the world. I am a person who looks at people’s actions, not their words.

I look around me and I do not see a pandemic. I see a bad flu season. I’m pretty sure I had Covid19 and lovingly passed it along to my family & coworkers back in early February. Funny enough, the ONLY person who didn’t get it was my 82 year old Mom. We were traveling together at the time – she takes 1 drop of oregano oil in water whenever she travels. Her immune system took care of it without her having any symptoms. Everyone else experienced it in varying degrees.

What is important to me is that you allow me my freedom, as I am more than willing to allow you yours. We do not have to agree – but we do need to find a way to allow each other to exist. Right now those of us that are questioning are in the minority and so we have lost our freedoms under the guise of keeping everyone safe.

Regarding Sweden and their unorthodox pandemic strategy: This all came to a screeching halt approximately one month ago when their Covid19 hospitalizations and deaths numbers began to rise 8 months into the global pandemic. Dr.Tegnell, chief epidemiologist had previously stated that face masks worn in public would imply that the spread is airborne, so he warned against any public recommendations of this advice. In mid October top biologist, Dr. Lena Einhorn, warned that Sweden’s lack of restrictions had now placed Sweden’s death rate from Covid19 at 15th highest rate in the world and that their strategy must change. Sweden’s government finally empowered regions to institute local lockdowns and begin restrictions regarding crowds, transit, shopping malls etc. However, it was too little too late. Sweden is now in a crisis with cases rising at 50% a week, with 15,084 cases in this past week. Prime Minister Stephan Lofven has announced what he describes as “extremely interventional measures” as top epidemiologists take a complete U turn and enforce strict pandemic lockdown measures. They got it wrong and are now suffering terribly for not following the WHO guidelines.
On a different note, someone said they found it odd that there seems to be a distinct lack of 2020 seasonal flu spike being reported. For those of you staying home, wearing masks washing hands frequently and physical distancing, do you find it odd that you have not had a cold, or the flu? Makes complete sense to me.

On November 19, 2020 the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Royal College) was made aware of statements regarding COVID-19 by a Royal College Fellow, Dr. Roger Hodkinson.

In some online references, Dr. Hodkinson is being incorrectly identified as a chair/past-chair of the Royal College.

We would like to clarify that Dr. Hodkinson is not nor has ever held the position of chairman of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

We can confirm that Dr. Roger Hodkinson was certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as a general pathologist in 1976.

The Royal College believes COVID-19 presents a serious threat to the health of Canadians. The Royal College strongly supports all public health advice given by the Chief Public Health Officer of Canada, including recommendations to practise physical distancing and to wear masks to help prevent COVID-19 transmission. We are very appreciative of the dedication and commitment of our Royal College Fellows, residents and all front-line health care workers in the fight against COVID-19.

In additional your answer to another post: “None of the people on this stream is as educated as he.”

I find that statement from you repugnant. I feel pretty confident in stating that this comunity/area we live in, is home to a varied and large amount of well educated people ,who are more than qualified be able to question and provide answers to information you are purporting providing to your readership.

Do you believe your own statement that your readership is not educated enough to be able to question or understand what you are printing?

Publisher: I don’t think I stated anything in the article – all from the good doctor. Nothing from me.
Comments are interesting reading – some left, some right, some wrong, some correct – and that is the sum of it.

Social distancing won’t work? I don’t need to be a doctor to know that if I don’t go near someone who is sick means I probably won’t get those germs. Unless of course it’s evil spirits that are making us sick. Yes the death rate for those under 65 is very low, but do you want to be the one that gives your grañny the germs?

Even “IF” what he says is the truth….. than this is one heck of a flu that is killing millions of people worldwide . Is it not better to be cautious and follow health professional requests (hand washing , mask wearing etc. ) than to have the same number of deaths as the 1918 FLU. Maybe read about what has been learned from 100 years ago.

“If” what he says is the truth? Of course, he probably knows nothing about the topic right….what are his professional credentials again? And it’s not killing “millions of people worldwide. It hasn’t even killed 1 million yet. Please refrain from spreading sensationalist misinformation. “…the same number of deaths as the 1918 FLU”??? Seriously?! Do you know how many died from that flu?…one estimate lists it at 50 million. What you’re doing is deplorable….conflating two such monumentally different situations! That is just pure drumming up of hysteria with a ridiculous comparison. No wonder there are so many ill-informed people blindly following these dictatorial and utterly absurd edicts.

The most recent count of deaths is approximately 1.4 million . Yes I know the 1918 flu killed 30-50 million people . Do we really want this to happen again ??

Not sure where you get your information but the last time I checked the number was 1.34 million deaths worldwide from Covid 19, but then again that source may not be to your liking. Do you believe that there were no lock downs during the Spanish Flu Pandemic, no precautionary measures, no wide spread concern? If so then you are very ill informed.

This reply is to both Carolyn Tipler and Sheila Rissling; Ok, i can admit when i’m mistaken. So the official number of deaths worldwide from Covid is now at 1.4 million. I haven’t looked at the websites that track the data for many weeks now so that’s why i said “less than 1 million”, that was the last number i saw. Having said that though, i want to remind you it’s well worth considering the distinct possibility that some, if not many, of those 1.4 million deaths are actually from a whole host of other causes. I know for a fact that some of them (granted maybe only a few hundred or thousand) were due to things like car and motorcycle accidents. But then how many were from stroke, heart attack, asthma, TB, pneumonia, and of course let’s not forget….the common flu? Are you aware that the WHO’s own website shows the complete lack this fall, of the annual spike in flu cases that happens each year? 2019 and previous; business as usual…a lot of flu cases and deaths beginning in the fall and lasting thru winter until late spring. But not 2020. Oh no, not at all. There is a complete absence of the normal annual surge on the graph that they produce each year. Why is that? Isn’t that a least a little bit odd? I myself say it’s VERY odd. But there’s a simple explanation…everything is being recorded as “Covid-19”. To the point even, as i pointed out earlier, that the numbers have been intentionally inflated by putting “covid-19” on the death certificates of ppl who died of some totally different cause. There were several doctors and nurses in the US who attempted to blow the whistle on this deception but none of the MSM networks would interview them, so they had a very limited platform from which to reveal what they’d seen. And then when they tried Tweeting about it or posting a YouTube video talking about it, they were censored and deleted. And so here we are, with the masses believing what they’ve been told all year was the truth. I assure you, it has not been.

P.S. No i’m not ill informed Carolyn. I’m full aware that yes there were precautionary measures and concern in 1918/19 during the Spanish Flu outbreak. But why do you alarmists keep trying to conflate the Spanish flu with Covid?? They are NO where near the same thing! Stop with the ridiculous comparisons in the sole interest of perpetuating the hysteria and the absurd authoritarian narrative. Covid-19 is nothing more than a bad flu! …or cold actually, since it’s of the Corona virus (cold) family. Just as Dr. Hodkinson said. This over-reaction by whole nations is utter stupidity and baseless paranoia. Likewise to Sheila; asking me “do i want to see that (the Spanish flu death toll) happen again?”, is absurd rhetoric. They are no where close to being the same thing! Get a grip.

It was you who mentioned Covid and Spanish Flu in one of your comments, not me or anyone else. You sound really angry, why? People are voicing their opinions and most everyone has been polite about it whereas you are not. It is your right to believe in a global conspiracy but don’t get mad because the majority don’t believe that.

Rocky, congratulations on your thoughtful comments. I suspect that our old friend Jack may have been a little bored and went looking on the internet for one of its many fact-based articles to feed us……not! I’ve been vocal before regarding my personal thoughts on Jack’s comments on people’s posts. When I say what I say at the invitation of the publisher in the comments section, I take great exception to his remarks that often disagree. I don’t expect any comment to turn into a debate. It is simply a point of view. The publisher is the boss apparently but it doesn’t give him the right to take a shot at any post. If he doesn’t like it he doesn’t have to print it at all. So, glad you spoke up Rocky. You made my day!

I for one am very appreciative of the Publisher putting this information on this news site. This Dr. is clearly very accomplished in his field of expertise and why should anyone doubt his opinion on this topic? I find it absolutely astonishing the Rocky and others here are just piling on this Dr. and dismissing his statements as though he was just a raving lunatic off the street. Unreal. For goodness sake people, the man is a virologist with decades of experience and knowledge!
Again, thank you to the Publisher for printing this.

Lemmings don’t jump off cliffs with 100s of others following blindly. This is a myth notoriously created by the 1958 Disney documentary “White Wilderness.” In this film, lemmings were pushed off a cliff for dramatic effect.

Humans — unfortunately — are often willing to believe any old myth when it comes from a seemingly reliable source.

“All the other doctors”?….oh you mean like the thousands of doctors across the USA and around the world who have been saying for months now that these draconian lockdowns are absurd, that keeping children and university aged young adults out of in person classes is insanity, that the mortality rate of this cold virus (yes, it is in fact a cold virus, Corona viruses are a family of cold viruses) is no worse than that of the common flu, that there does indeed exist an effective therapeutic treatment which is a combination of zinc and Hyroxychloroquine. All those doctors? This man, Dr. Hodkinson, could have just as easily used “sheep” to describe the majority of people in this country and the one to our south.

This guy IS right Carolyn. As are thousands of other doctors that have all year long…since good data was obtained after a couple of months in the spring…been saying that this virus is on par with the common flu, that the lock downs are ridiculous and doing more harm than good, that keeping children and university students out of class is absurd, that masks have almost no effectiveness, and that zinc and HCQ in combination is an effective therapeutic treatment. The “other doctors” that you must be referring to, are those like A. Fauci and the other political activists with a vested interest in wrecking Trump’s economy. They aren’t doctors anymore, they are as i said, political activists. Shills for big pharma, which wants to make billions off the vaccines.
