Your first pictures included the nose of a single engined model located to the right of the Mars .

Goggle Mars Water Bomber on Skaha Lake for videos of the Mars flying over the IGA OK Falls on the way to land, taxi on the lake picking up water , then taking off to continue the job. Came in quite low over the IGA .

These planes (which live on top of our garage)were made by John Gludivats before he passed away.We started with the biPlane, then after seeing the Mars Bomber in action, working on the Vaseaux Lake fire, we had to plead and bribe John to let us buy his version of it.
These planes have weathered many a windy day on the Lake and let us know how windy a day it is by the sound of those propellers whirring! We have lost the odd prop now and again, and we need to repaint and repair them (how does one make a new Prop?). This would require one of us to scale the heights of the rooftop.Since I’m afraid of heights, I think I’ll have to wait ’till one of the kids come up!!

Publisher: Say hi to Charlie ( the big guy ) – Interesting that one comment was about the Mars Bomber. Where did the Mars Bomber gets its water??

  3. Car Wash Scott says:

Is that a model of a Mars water bomber ?

Publisher: This is an Ev Roberts special with only one motor. The Mars Bomber had four engines.

Publisher: Looked again does look like a bomber – will blow up picture
