Over 50 volunteers stuffed 900+ packages for the the Oliver Half Ironman Thursday night in record breaking time. The 9th annual event is to take place on Sunday, June 3rd and includes a 1500m swim in Tuc El Nuit Lake, a 90k bike in the Oliver area, and a 21 k run along the hike and bike trail.
Oliver ambassador candidates as well as Oliver Youth Cares provided their volunteer support and demonstrated that youth in Oliver are alive, well, and are major contributors to volunteerism in the Oliver community.

Volunteers Rock!
We’ll be there tomorrow and Sunday. Good luck Joe, crew, and, of course, the athletes – we are in for yet another great Outback Iron Man here in Oliver.
If you have never felt the energy these wonderful people generate you are truly missing out. Hope to see you there – the athletes really appreciate your support.
Best,
Keith.
