Queen Victoria rears her head

This is Queen Victoria rock, best viewed from just before where the irrigation ditch passes under the highway north of town, look over to the loose rock fall across the river. This rock must be at least 8 feet high.

The analogy is that Queen Victoria always wore a black shroud and this is the view from the rear of her late majesty, just like if you stand on the steps of the BC legislature building in Victoria and look at her statue in front of the building.
