Definitely an Anna’s, although quite unusual for a pair to have survived in the Okanagan over the winter. Is that where the pic. was taken?
They have definitely expanded their range, and some parts of the Fraser Valley report them in the winter, albeit sometimes with the assist of a heated hummingbird feeder. Traditionally, in winter, they have only been reported in B.C. right on the Coast, as in West Van, Victoria, etc.
Nothing wrong with reporting bird pics from other areas. We all do it all the time. Great shot by the way.
